5live were reporting that any beef etc would still have to meet UK food standards. I’ve not read the detail.

I didn't say it was possible just the optimum for me given where the world is now.
I'd like to see some figures on costs and benefits etc on imports and exports both ways before I celebrate. But that's probably just me (given I think all politicians are degrees of lying cunts and I don't trust anything any of them say), others may be happy to trust the government to know what they are doing and celebrate with them.
Who are you electing for the role? I'd like to put myself forward. I'm genuinely motivated to do my absolute best for people and our society. I'm also highly likely to prioritise self-interest, shovel cash into my own pockets, garner power and privilege, and generally take the piss.
