Biden pardoning everyone he's ever met just in case. Nothing dodgy about that.

The whole TikTok thing this weekend and Trump and Melania coin pump and dump. It’s open season. Get while the getting’s good.

It's such a shame that there was nothing he could do about any of that over the previous 4 years

Saying which, trying to protect some decent people from Trump's various -pathies isn't unreasonable on the face of it

Don’t be a cunt..you’re better than that. As RA said, it’s open season for all the loonies: anti-vaxxers, freeing the J6 “hostages”, bitcoin grifters You should be more worried about that than Biden protecting public servants.

But maybe you bought a MAGA hat to blend in?

I think it's a difficult choice but it's now going to be difficult to for the democrats to present themselves as the party of norms after this, when that's probably what everyone will want in next year's elections.

Although chances are the general public will have forgotten anyway.

Just means democrats will be in no position to get outraged when Trump pardons everyone who owns a red hat when he's on the way out.

Biden should have been far more strident over the last 4 years. His lasting legacy will be allowing this prick back in, together with everything that goes with it. Fully enabled by a client press who normalised all the lunacy and lies. The populists have managed to change the rules of the game. There’s not point the rest of us pearl clutching when its been fully enabled. Democracy in action, albeit Russian-interfered and Musk-tampered.

Starmer would do well to take note. Marquess of Queensbury rules no longer apply.

He did that last time. And this is so obviously and clearly different. Standing on norms while people's lives are ruined is pretty weak.
Nonetheless, the Dems are money-compromised and self-limiting.

Got my gun licence. Need a gun. I fear I will be too late.

Not watching the news ever again. Told the wife if she is watching CNN when i get home I will divorce her.

I said I wouldn't look at the news. I read the Guardian. I feel sick. My fault...

I became so incredibly fatigued by the previous shitshow that I’m avoiding as much news as I can. As social media made things demonstrably worse I deleted Twitter when Phony Stark really ruined it and have now binned Reddit as that wasn’t much better for avoiding the crazy.

Third time’s the charm but I’ll wait for someone else to let me know.

I think that's the vibe in huge parts of America!

I recommend the latest news agents podcast if you really want to feel sick about the whole situation.

    Feel your pain.

I wonder if there are any statistics on how many good people went to bed early on Kristallnacht?
