For the playoffs I was living in London, but I'm now up North, so very different routine for me.
Our office have started tracking attendance using the gate we have to beep in at, so I'm going to swing by there first thing and beep my card at 10am before hitting the pubs. Keep my stats up.

Not a chance that anyone is going to dig into the data that much. There's just a dashboard where it shows how many days we've been in the office each month. It's fed from a monthly download of the gate data, passed to HR, then loaded in.
Honestly the 2-3 levels of management above me couldn't give a monkeys. My immediate boss has even offered to keep swipe my pass a couple of times each week as she's very anti the level of monitoring - but that didn't seem like a good idea so I politely declined.
It might be that they filter out weekends from the data, but this will be a good test of it. It's only just gone live so nobody seems to know.

One of my old haunts. Where are you planning? There are (well there used to be) a good number of slightly rough Irish pubs along the high street, with 1-2 slightly nicer places.
