Hurzeler - They sit in a low block and wait for transitional moments - that is their game. It is the game we expected because they never do anything else.

Except we did do something else today. For the first 60 minutes at least. Tosser.

    Hurzeler is a cunt

If they'd had Joao Pedro on from the start, we might have lost that. He's the guy we need to sign this summer, if we qualify for CL.

And I had an idea that Elanga might convert into a centre forward for the rest of the season if Wood is out. If he is, he needs to hold onto the ball with more intelligence. Brighton on top for the last 15 minutes was largely due to Elanga not holding onto clearances well enough.

Two points: Firstly, it should be easy to beat if you are a more established side and know exactly what's coming. Whiny little tosser. Secondly, the more close competitors that have no idea what they are looking at, the better.

MGW is the best equipped to hold it up. He can't be everywhere though.

I took Taiwo's departure on 60 minutes to mean that they want him fresh and ready to play 90 minutes on Tuesday.

Saw an interview with nuno that suggested Wood's scan wasn't good.

Well the story as always is....Never even underestimate Ryan Yates.

When he stepped up to take the fifth penalty I was looking at the telly going, "err why isn't Jota taking this?". I was wrong, our Ryan did the business again.

We completely nullfied them in the first half with another Nuno masterclass coupled with fierce tackling and great pressing. The Mardy Sour Kraut took the bait and whined that we were one dimensional. yeah, okay Loser.

Also, how in the world was that not an penalty on Anderson. Mitoma slid past him and took out his standing ankle. Stonewalled. Was Paul Tierney on VAR? Baffling that wasn't given.

We are the penalty kings. Even with Wood and MGW unable to stake the spot kicks.

I was sure that we would struggle in the 90 minutes and I was wrong. Figured if it got to extras and pennos then done deal. Happy that was the case.

Once more onto Wembley. Where's John Moss when you need him?

Who do we want in the semis? Muff (yiked!), Citeh (mardy pricks), Villa (hmmm) Palace (form team of the moment..). I think anybody but Bournmouth. Although that would be a great revenge tour.

The penalty looked pretty straightforward. I'm not sure how the ref could look at the replay and decide the defender didn't pull his foot away.

The only suggestion I've seen which makes sense, even though it's still bullshit, is that VAR decided that Anderson put his foot deliberately into Mitoma's arm and then dived, and the ref agreed on review.

But not bad enough to book him for simulation. That's a heck of a reach, imho.

Again, how could he possibly be certain enough of that to overturn the onfield decision? Anderson’s foot movement was entirely natural.

As I said at the time, it's a really risky, last-ditch challenge to make and you're always going to be in some trouble if you don't get the ball.

Kaoru Mitoma was a lucky boy, although I'm told he's not going to Wembley this season.

Not as good as them winning the title anyway...

Definitely by the early 90s it was a trope that Forest wouldn't shut up about the European cups. Their title was nearly 10 years ago.
