I was hoping that someone else would do the duties for this one as we are heading off to montenegro this weekend so it's frantic pedal to the medal stuff.

Brighton since we walloped them seem to have gone on a pretty strong winning streak. This is their revenge game. They will go at us hard. This is not a game for the ressies.

Taiwo will fill in for the injured Woody.

It will be tense and they will have the upper hand but it could very well go to penalties if we play it tight.

Not sure we win this in regular time.

Will be exciting and I would love it, LOVE IT! (copyright Kevin Keegan) if we made their mardy manager even more of a cunt than he already is...

    Chicago: Balling.

Think we'll lose this. They'll want revenge and it's their main focus for the rest of the season, so they'll go full strength, while we'll want to rest a few ahead of the United game.

How many Brighton players had long international journeys?
    Mitoma? (Japan)
    Baleba, Minteh, Adingra? (Africa)
    Pedro, Estupian? (South America)

If they all play I hope they are knackered.

This is in line with my thinking. You wouldn't rule Forest out of any game this season, but I suspect it will be Brighton fans scrambling for Wembley tickets this time.

Our last five FA Cup quarter-finals have all finished 1-0. Wins in 1989 and 1991, defeats in 92, 96 and 2022.

Looking forward to a day at the seaside, although I won't actually go into Brighton itself as there are no trains and the ground is in Falmer.

Anyway, I've yet to see us win at the Credit Card bowl, so it would be nice to correct that stat.

    Wood definitely out.

They're one point from the CL places, you don't think they'll be trying to get in?

Finishing above 2 of Newcastle, Chelsea and Man City (3, if you include us) looks much harder than winning three games, one of which is at home to us.

They'll want to finish 5th but what's their best chance of glory? They've never won anything, ever.

Thank fuck it's Saturday. I don't know about the rest of you, but whilst the last 2 international breaks seemed to pass fairly quickly this one has felt like a month.

Before the early kick off I favoured a palearse win. Because we can't beat Foolham. We may not be able to beat palearse. Or even brightone in the first place.

    As you were.

Our combined record so far this season against Palace and Brighton is W2 D1 L0 F10 A3. So I'm not really sure what you're basing that on other than innate pessimism.

I'm basing it on the 7-0 being an outlier, that without that it looks more of a coin toss (but more likely than beating foolham), and innate pessimism (playing away being a disadvantage, even for us).
