He's not a one tricky pony though is he? He can dribble down either flank, at pace, with great control, he has fiesty right peg and a very good technique on the volley / half-volley. That's all basically. He's had a shite few years with his achilles and his loans to Germany but he seems to be moving almost as fast as he did when he first broke through at Chelsea and got into the England's squad. Not an amazing season, but a good one and looks like he might be getting back to where he was.

Apparently Ryan Yates is only the 4th player to have scored in each of the top 5 divisions of English football.

    Who are the other 3?
(Although the “5th division” might be slightly artefactual)

Isn't Carlton Morris one of them? Pretty sure he's come up through the pyramid with Luton.

You're thinking of Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, but he's only scored a handful in his entire career. Morris joined Luton last season.

I'm pretty sure Carlton Morris has scored in all four (five??) leagues, he is the archetypal journeyman striker.

    Vardy I presume is one.

    Ian Wright too?

Don't think either of them played in the fourth tier or probably the third.

Correct. Wright didn't play in the fifth either, he jumped straight from something called the Kent League to the old Second Division.
