Great in the air, but he really struggled with their movement, Archer in particular. Almost cost us a couple of goals.

Good compliment to Murillo that worked out yesterday. One in the air, one on the deck.

Feel like Danilo had a better game than he's being given credit for. Yes the run caught the eye. .. but so did the constant running, coming offering for the ball, linking midfield and attack, working back.

Agreed on both counts. Boly/Murillo and Yates/Danilo were both very complementary partnerships.

Can't get in ahead of the pace and trickery of Origi?

Apparently Ryan Yates is only the 4th player to have scored in each of the top 5 divisions of English football.

    Who are the other 3?
(Although the “5th division” might be slightly artefactual)

It's a phenomenal achievement. I think it was Harry Toffolo on Yates's 200-club video who said every trainee should have a picture of him on their locker.

He's clearly not perfect and is soon going to hit his natural plateau - if he hasn't already - but you can see why successive coaches have consistently picked him. Bit like 'exemplary pro James Perch' but with more talent.

Still think we need Sangare/Domínguez/Danilo to push him out of the team on a permanent basis for us to kick on, but he's such a likable chap. I hope he's here for some time to come.

Isn't Carlton Morris one of them? Pretty sure he's come up through the pyramid with Luton.

    Ian Wright too?

Don't think either of them played in the fourth tier or probably the third.

Bob Earnshaw is normally an answer to these questions.

I'm finding it amusing how people (media and others) keep saying CHO has one trick and he keeps doing it. Cutting in and shooting on your right foot isn't a trick any more than not cutting in and taking it on your left is.

Wright (from memory) broke into professional football relatively late in the late 80s, but went straight into Division One with Palace where he spent a few years before signing for Arsenal.

He scored goals in the second and third divisions for us and Burnley, but not sure he ever played below that?

Google says Jimmy Wallis, Gary Hooper, Steve Finnan.

You're thinking of Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, but he's only scored a handful in his entire career. Morris joined Luton last season.

He's not a one tricky pony though is he? He can dribble down either flank, at pace, with great control, he has fiesty right peg and a very good technique on the volley / half-volley. That's all basically. He's had a shite few years with his achilles and his loans to Germany but he seems to be moving almost as fast as he did when he first broke through at Chelsea and got into the England's squad. Not an amazing season, but a good one and looks like he might be getting back to where he was.
