I'd hope to see some fringe players but I think our usual approach to using them is fundamentally flawed - we just chuck on 11 players who've never played together and expect it to work and then slag them all off when it doesn't. I'm not sure what the team should look like but, for me, we'd be far better off keeping 4 or 5 of the regular team (Milenkovic/Sangare/Gibbs-White/Hutchinson?) and trying to build new relationships in that structure.
We aren't going to get away with using the same 10 outfield players in the remaining 11 league games, so let's use this chance to get some of the fringe players accustomed. And it reduces the chance of the collapse & penalty loss that we all think is possible.
