Can someone explain to me a) the meaning of Jesus's goal celebration and b) why he hasn't been fined for it yet? It is objectively awful, firing a pretend gun at the crowd and then committing suicide with said gun.

It's your fault for calling it a bullet header on page 3.

I barely registered it, but it was one of the first things a colleague said to me this morning.

I get more offended when some fucker rips his top off after scoring. Cannot compute.

Or when Taiwo shows us his ‘Jesus loves you’ undershirt (rarely seen obviously).

Went for a haircut this morning. The Fenerbahce fan was making himself scarce…the other lads are all Galatasaray fans so were delighted when a Forest fan showed up. They all think Fenerbahce are corrupt, not helped by the fact they are Erdogan’s team.

Hopefully Kante is still in their squad for the second leg, so we can use something like "Just A N'golo" as a disrespectful thread title.

I actually agree with McCoist giving Sangare POTM. He did more than enough, for me.

I was only half watching because I was on work calls (again, that kick off time is stupid), but Morgan looked like he was having one of those games that reminds you why he's so important to us.

    .

Kick off was 2045 Turkish time, so quite late enough over here!

Early on the commentary, Fletcher presented the two sides of the Dyche argument as “one loss in six” v “ two wins in eight”. But, for a team fighting relegation, two wins in eight isn’t bad? That’s 9.5 over a 38 game season and, historically, it’s incredibly unlikely that a team with ten wins gets relegated. He got sacked because of performances not results. (Although had results been better they’d have saved him.)

Kind of. It was the direction IMO (and I write this as someone who wouldn't have sacked him, but I can see why it was done). I couldn't see us winning another game or even scoring a goal! Which I know is a bit OTT but that's what it felt like. I couldn't care less if the football is shit providing we were picking up enough points. The stats said we just about were ... But it felt incredibly perilous. The two recent wins against Brentford and West Ham both felt pretty lucky.

This is a bit of a ramble .

If we fired the manager every time you could never see us winning another game or scoring another goal, we’d get through …. oh.

I believe tomorrow is the day a Fenerbace thread should be started with 2 days notice.
I'll do it if no one else wants to (yeah, Rave - what a big man volunteering to defend a 3-0 lead).
But some of you are nervous, aren't you?
Some of you remember Stoke under Lamouchi, don't you?
Some of you know damn well what sort of line up we will field, don't you?
I don't get up that early. If anyone wants to jump in then you've got until mid-morning...

It’s been a while since we’ve had a home and away playoff situation. Sheffield Utd? What is the convention? Does each leg get its own thread or do we stick with one thread for the whole tie?

Whichever it was, we're doing the opposite.
