Given the Blue Brazil are now in the Scottish fifth tier, I doubt they would reap too much of an economic boost from Citeh playing park football in the league above.

If I said something as preposterous as this I would be told I was trolling.
If they are found guilty of most of the charges, that is nowhere near the scale required when compared to the punishments for us and Everton. Needs to be a multi-season punishment IMO. -30 for the next 5 season or something. Alternatively bust them down to L2.
I believe Swindle Down were relegated two divisions (in practice one, because the period of censure included a promotion). For substantially fewer, and less severe financial transgressions of the rules, than alleged in the manshitty case. I also don't believe their breaching financial regulations with illegal payments was perpetuated over a decade.
There is no satisfactory outcome to this case, found guilty or not, and it highlights the absolute shitshow that governance of football has become. It wasn't great to start with....but post 'ship? Carnage. Totally against sporting integrity, overseeing the destruction of the competitive pyramid, and removing the game from communities and local fans, to monetise their centuries old investment.
It ain't being fixed. If it was me I'd start again.
Yes but tell me how you really feel?
Chicago: Opaque.
Was talking to a long time, pre ship Man City fan at the weekend. He is convinced it is all a conspiracy by what he called "the red teams". Also believes that in a legal battle City will simply bankrupt the Premier league, which would be interesting.
Is there a word for a cognitive bias towards what you want to happen, versus what if you rationalise things is most likely to happen? Most people suffer from this.

Not that far-fetched.
As I understand it - Citeh are obviously responsible for their legal fees, but the rest of the EPL sides will have to cough up for the EPL's legal costs.
Given Citeh winning everything only seriously adversely affects about half-a-dozen teams (those denied titles/cups/qualifying for Europe), I'm not sure how much appetite the rest would have to fund it (especially given some (eg Everton/Fester) seem to despise the EPL).
The Beeb is reporting a rumour from CaughtOffside (whatever that is) that we are watching Beşiktaş 19yo striker Semih Kılıçsoy. I'm not great at Turkish pronunciation, but I'm pretty sure giving us a semi and then becoming a killjoy is very much in our bailiwick.
If City really have £100 million to spend on Morgan Gibbs-White we would be mad not to take it in January. It would be a sad loss, he has done far better for us than I first thought he would, and he is a great leader but we aren't going to get relegated as a result this year, it will keep us sustainable for many a while, he deserves the opportunity and it creates an opportunity for Anderson who looks like an able replacement.
Textbook.
I hope everyone gives you, and this article, the attention it deserves.
Oh Jesus. Sounds a bit overpriced to me, for the level he's played at.
Can't see us signing Kelleher after tonight. He will now cost an awful lot and he will have a lot of options.
