Guardian suggesting Chuba Akpom from Ajax?
They were saying we should go after him. I don’t know whether it’s based on actual activity or just their speculation.
Seems like a lot to be paying for a 26 yo who's only got 1 Brazil cap and who plays in a position we are already pretty strong in. Unless we are expecting to sell CHO.
Interestingly (or not), seen some on social media beginning to turn against him after last night (I haven't watched Oly's goals, so can't comment on his performance)
Their second and third goals did look a bit soft. Though he perhaps thought tactically for his relationship with EM it would be a good idea.

Also got caught in no-mans land for the attempted lob at 1-1. Not sure he's got much responsibility for the third.
Showed plenty of reasons in that one video as to why we still need a new goalie. The defence didn't exactly cover itself in glory either but I wouldn't be feeling overly confident if I was playing in front of Sels.
I can't think of any real howlers he made last season, but I trust Nuno on that one. My sense of that is he's regarded as clearly the best keeper at the club, but that maybe we could do better.
As for Chuba Akpom, not a Premier league quality player IMHO.
Athletic saying Ramon Sosa deal back on, with medical this week
I think it's always been on there's just been some fucking about over whether we pay in dollars or pesos.
Oops. And Percy says Nuno has confirmed he wants another striker too. Sounds like Gimenez of Gimpy as he is nicknamed.
Or Victor Rogue who could be available from Barcelona. Brazilian. Very skillful. Fast. Not strong like Wood or Taiwo but a definite menace.
Bought for 30+ million Euros last season but the greedy Catalonian fuckers are trying to Get Olmo (they got him) and Nico Williams therefore leaving Rogue in the dust.
Mental.
Having said that, a loan to buy would be ace.
Chicago: King of speculation.
Having a manager who is a native Portugese speaker has got to be handy given the number of players in our squad who speak it as a first language.
Romano's given it the 'HWG soon' this morning.
What sort of vague ambiguity is this 'HWG soon' nonsense?
Either Here We Go or Here We Don't.
Romano out!
Man Utd want Danilo.
