    And Sky

Percy saying a possible swap for Anderson and Minteh.

I presume in reality 3 sales to make the best use of psr

Edit - or maybe it's an either or.

I don’t know that much about Anderson (“midfield” can cover a multitude of sins), but the general vibe is that he fits the young/potential model. If we have to move one of our forward players for spreadsheet-y reasons, personally I’d prefer to lose Elanga than CHO.

    Still; who knows? Paper rumours

Other way round for me. CHO has more spreadsheet value, and I think a lower ceiling than Elanga.

Is that right on value, I've read Chelsea have a big sell on (50% I'd seen mentioned).

Elanga isn't selling for more than probably 20M and we paid 15-16M, so assuming it's before Monday we're only realising 4-5M. CHO would like go for the same value but even with 50% to Chelsea we'd generate more profit, and I think Elanga offers more long term value to us on the pitch.

This was all correct until this sentence which is incorrect.

I like Elanga and he fits with Forest. He is not the finished article but he is electric. Elliot Anderson is also very good but a completely different player. He also has injury concerns (shocker). Minteh is very highly rated but having said that he was ace in the Dutch league last season so that doesn't count.

I also thought we bought Elanga for 10 million but could be wrong.

Anyway, don't necessarily like this as it will fuck up our counter attacking game which seems to be the only thing that works. Unless we are buying Pedro Neto from Wolves who is fantastic but a total Darren Anderson.

Having said that we are after Wesley from Brazil who is also meant to be highly rated.

    It's a fantastic mess.

    Chicago: Creating a canvas.

The one who was shit for Villa?

19 year old wonder kid from Corinthians.

Yep another Brazilian. Poor old Dom. An Argy in a sea of samba.

    Chicago: in the know.

I think CHO has shown us all he is, and will be. I don't necessarily dispute an argument that he's currently a more reliably impactful player than Elanga, but I think that Elanga has all the skills that CHO does and some more besides. With the right development I'm very sure he's going to be the better player.

Nah. Elanga's main weapon is pace, that'll only decline. CHO is much more skillful, that stays.

Elanga has shown he can finish. And at 22 years old I don't really think we need to worry about him losing his speed any time soon.

CHO was a generational talent at youth and early career level, Elanaga has always been rougher. But I wouldn't enjoy seeing either leave as they were good last year and probably are going to get better.

Brighton had a 33M offer accepted for Minteh, so I'm guessing Elanga is staying.

£33m for a Newcastle player I've never heard of. This league is a joke.
