Are we really going to go the whole window without buying anyone from Man U, Liverpool or Arsenal or even one of their former players? Seems unlikely, unless Militidis is locked in a room somewhere.

    You'll make Chic sad again.

I can only mention players that I like that would work for us. These have to be players I have seen play whether it's in real life or on the Television. I would like to quote Mythical Football Manager players but I stopped playing that game ages ago when it got a little too slow in game play and I couldn't play only the computer.

Anyway, who would you like a scouting report on?

Besides we are buying a Brazilian and a Portogeezer. No mention of Prem players that we know of but I do like Anderson who we bought off a prem team so suck it.

    Chicago: Pipeline Baby.

    25, 28, 27, 25.

Absolutely not what I'm talking about.

The best players in the world are over 28.

    Where do they go now!

So Mbappe, Bellingham and Haaland aren’t among the best players in the world?

They are...but Mbappe has been late era messi lazy for a few years, Bellingham can't kick, and Haaland is a goal hanger. There's plenty of scope for good all round experienced players to run games...and there are better ninety minute players doing exactly that. Even if your examples clip up well in attention deficit show reels.

Of course there are good young players. Nobody is buying those as development investment projects. My point is the large numbers of overpriced underdeveloped prospects pushing out good players, making teams worse, but having a possible spreadsheet upside.

Chelsea the prime example. It being the stated direction of manure, who already have a history of nad dropping in this (from martial to Anthony through podga and others)

These should be elite clubs looking to put the best teams that they can on the grass. But they are not.

I know, and it's appreciated. I just happen to disagree about both Gallagher and Nketiah (at the relevant price points).

Ramon Sosa, 24 year old Paraguayan goalscoring winger, currently playing in Argentina.

Supposedly we have now offered around 15M euros.

Fucks sake. Just get some cracking 30 year olds who can actually kick at the level already.

Talk of Aaron Ramsdale on Loan. That would be mental. Do we like Sels? Do we have a buyer because we bought him cheap?

Probably nonsense but hilarious all the same.

Walshy/Warrior/Jamesob will be ecstatic that Turner is on his way...

    Chicago: Keeping up appearances.

    Whose option?
Should be a nice job for him, I suppose, although giving up on certain aspirations.

He was apparently at the Trent Bridge test match last week. May just like cricket, of course.

Ramsdale is ok but not amazing, and Sels seems perfectly adequate to me (good at kicking good at making big beast saves, calm and not susceptible to regular clangers). Either would be a big upgrade on what we had at the start of last year.
