Another is that we’re seeking to attract a forward whose immediate prospect is probably to be No.3 in the pecking order (in a side that plays 1 up front a lot of the time), and without spending vast sums. Yet our fans are demanding “a proven goal scorer with PL experience”.

I agree we aren't likely to get a proven goalscorer with PL experience, unless it's someone like a Danny Ings type on the slide or we spend a lot on Nketiah or something. We might be able to get another Awoniyi-type from another league though who is better value.
