Is transfers between 'ship teams much of a thing? I wouldnt have thought so, unless one of the teams is getting a reaming. Mostly, with the cash on offer for participation, teams can afford to keep hold of players they want. I know that some teams have to sell for FFP occasionally, but mostly 'ship teams are at the top of the food chain, and not keen to strengthen each other.

I really don't think it would require that amount. They've got to know they're likely to go down, and if that happens they'll be lucky to get £10m.
