Errrr. Think you may have got that the wrong way around. But hey ho.

    Chicago: Sober.

I have no citable evidence to substantiate this, not even a dumb cluckbait article, but I have a hunch we will see MGW leave shortly for someone better than Spurs with James McAtee brought in in an attempt to fill the creative gap that will be left behind.

Anyone at Leeds worth trying to pick up? Dan James maybe? They're surely going to have to sell a few now.

Their best performers this season have mostly already underperformed in the Premier League. Gnonto and Rutter are young enough that they might be good second time round, but I wouldn't want to spend money to find out. Ampadu was good this year but I think they'll keep him.

    No to Dan James.

They've a youngster, Gray, in midfield who's been getting good reviews

Gray's outstanding but he's very young and he's part of the Leeds Gray dynasty. I can't see any way he's available.

    PSR may say differently.

Son of Forest legend Andy, Grandson of Forest European cup winner Frank. Leeds/Forest Gray dynasty, I think you mean.

I think a mutually beneficial deal could happen here. We sell them Worrall for £15 million and we buy Ampadu for £20 million. Helps us both out with PSR and the players end up at the right clubs.

Nobody is buying Worrall for £15m in this dimension. We'd be lucky to get 5. If we were top 4 we might flog him for 10 like Arsenal did to us with that turnip goalkeeper. Talking of turnip goalkeepers, I see the James Trafford myth continues - Chelsea in for him. Absolutely mental. Must have the same agent as Kompany.

Ampadu is very very good though and exactly the type we should be going for.

    Gray yes please.

Summerville (NB not part of the Nicky dynasty alas) also very good and we tried to sign him last Summer. He did OK in the Premier league too.

The point is we both overpay to help the short term PSR.

I realise that, for perfectly valid reasons, the club can't say how we are going to meet our FSP obligations, but I don't enjoy the rumours about how we are going to lose MGW and CHO in a pre-July panic sale.

I just don't accept that anyone is willing to pay a significant premium on Morgan's purchase price, sufficient that it would resolve our PSR issues. I can definitely see us getting circa 15M for CHO, which would net us about 6M after the sell on is accounted for. That wouldn't fix the problem but add a Worrall on and it might, and CHO is vastly more replaceable.

I dunno if it's just me, but it feels like there's scope for someone to put together a PSR tracker kind of website, where the author crowd sources / estimates the situation each PL club is in, and presents the data with some nice dashboards. It's been bouncing in my head for a while.

I just thought about it again right now as surely we aren't the only club that might have to do a mini fire sale before 1 July - but I've no idea where to start looking for the approximate figures of all the other PL clubs.
