Reyna is a decent punt, but Akpom is crap.
Based on 7 matches almost a decade ago, when he was still a teenager?

Hush, don't feed it.
Akpom feels a bit like BBD - banged in a load in the Champ, went to try his luck overseas, didn't work out, worth a punt for a struggling Prem team.

@FabrizioRomano🚨🌳 EXCL: Nottingham Forest trying to explore move for Chuba Akpom in the final hours of the transfer window.
Not easy to agree terms with Ajax but #NFFC trying to bring one more player in after Sels, Gio Reyna and Rodrigo Ribeiro.
The legend returns!

Beat me to it!
I think Akpom joined about a month after Freedman replaced Psycho. I seem to remember that he was quite good at finding space but never got any support in a side that had started the season well but faded horribly after injuries to Reid and Cohen. We never got to see his finishing as we never got the ball to him anywhere remotely dangerous.

Scored 5 goals in 13 games at Ajax this season, so not sure I'd class that as not working out.

Links up again with....
Interesting analytical piece on Reyna. I didn't realise he played in MGW's position rather than the wing.

You’re clearly not an athletic subscriber then, because they’ve had about five articles talking about how he likes to play in the middle.

Not worked out doesn't necessarily just mean on the pitch. The fact that we're after him 6 months after he went there suggests that someone has let it be known he'd be interested in coming back to England.
Ajax have rejected our bid says Romano.
He's a journeyman. Career highlight = one good season for Boro in the Champ. Ben Brereton is better.
Has Mangala actually been confirmed yet?

Fab has confirmed it. All signed about an hour ago.
Still wouldn't be entirely surprised if we end up paying his salary there.

I've no idea if he's been baptised a catholic*
