Alright sorry. I don't understand it and you haven't explained it but new for 2024 is I'm going to avoid futile arguments with the Internet so happy to take it that you're right and I'm wrong.

Don't we have head coaches, rather than managers, these days?

I don't know. Maybe I give people too much credit. I should try being more patronizing.

We'll have mentors who give feedback on competencies in an inclusive way to promote a growth mindset next.

Trolling. It must be difficult not getting the attention that you crave, but try to keep it broadly on topic, rather than repeatedly expose your inadequacies.

I was making a joke about management speak, nothing to do with winding you up unless you really like all that stuff. But if you do and I've offended your religion, apologies.

Seems like you just don't know when to stop. Is that what the beak said?

    Let's not.

Someone should have thought about that before.

Coming back to this. I'm currently watching Everton v Villa. Everton have 2 under 21 strikers on their bench. Villa have only 8 subs, including two under 21 goalkeepers, a 20 year old midfielder and a 20 year old striker (admittedly Duran who's a full international they paid good money for).

The idea that it's a failure if you can't always pick 9 senior subs is an absolute nonsense.

    Who has suggested that idea?

Implied in JR'S post that I quoted, isn't it? (With a bit of added hyperbole.)

I once went for a job interview for Project Manger position, during the course of which, as a result of the conversation regarding job description vs apparent actual (employer, well, token HR person on the panel who seemed to think we were in an episode of The Apprentice) expectation, I questioned whether what they actually wanted was a Change Manager, at a senior executive level, with a clear mandate, which, without organisional buy in would probably be largely pointless anyway.

Worryingly, I've found that at senior management level, few have heard of it, those that have do not actually have a real grasp of what it is, what it actually entails and / or where to start, and of those that have, do and are, even fewer are particularly good at it (in my relatively limited experience anyway).

Anyway I didn't get the job, but I kept all the fucks I had to myself.

    Sorry, carry on.

But how many subs did the panel have on th bench?

None. Apprentice woman went all Sugar and fired them all.
