I've watched nearly an hour of this shit and not one boat has sank.

Decent little dance mix now though. Even a bit of Darude.

The music is excellent. Most of the dances look like cunts though.

Gojira were predictably superb. I turned it off after that.

I realise I’m in the minority but I’ve quite enjoyed this. It’s been a camper Eurovision on speed.

There was certainly a lot of quiet bits when people were floating up and down the Seine on electric horses and small boats (not the athletes parade, which I thought was an interesting and different way of doing it).

In an exciting thread crossover watching the BBC coverage of the diving and the studio expert has got me revising my opinion on the Vance rumours.

Gojira were ace. The horse thing on the river was pretty interesting but it was generally rather dull and odd.

Anyway, that is about as much of the Olympics I am going to watch and I will see you all in four years.
