This year, it's a choice of two - and one is usually diving or horse dancing. I want to watch the men's omnium. Now it's beach volleyball, featuring those famous beach-loving nations of Switzerland v Canada. FFS.Funnily enough I was just saying to someone that I must have changed. Used to really enjoy watching constantly. The coverage seems to shift from one boring no mark event to another this year.
Discovery (i.e. the 560 channels on virgin) won the main rights, BBC can only show two channels at a time - one on TV and one on red button/iplayer.

Something like "KJT has jumped 6 metres, that's worth 800 points, and puts her in 5th, she needs a jump of 6.40 to get to third place, 6.45 for silver, 6.50 for the lead".
You have a real beef with the design and coverage of multi-event disciplines. You may wish to consider a career change to sports consultant.
