It would be nice to make vampire face unai cry. His stupid high line needs exposing and we have the speed to do it.

Villa have a great record at home but lost to Spam Utd who we know are rubbish.

I think we can do the double. 5-5 May happen again but maybe just maybe we can sneak a 0-1 win. Elanga..

    Stranger things have happened.

    Chicago: Hell bent for leather.

Two or three points from the next three games to send us to Luton in a decent position, please.

I much prefer Chicago's more mature and sensible thread titles of recent times to his shouty semi literate offerings of the past.

Jim's matter of fact titles are still the best though.

Just wasted five minutes of my life watching a video of us training, to see if Big T was there. He wasn't. Could be a cunning plan, of course.

I mainly just do them boringly in some vague attempt at implementing a form of order and cataloguing in this place. I envisage a time in a few years when we're interested in looking back on the Spurs prediction thread to quote Tricky saying someone was shit who ended to being a Ballon d'Or winner.

It also helps people find the right thread on match day, and means we don't end up with 2-3 prediction threads.

Do we think he's a serious doubt? He was interviewed post match and said that he was fine and his substitution on Saturday was as planned.

Oddly, I noticed at the time that he wasn't on last week's equivalent either - was expecting him to be out last Saturday

Yer, but we always get tumped when you do it. Bore off and leave it to the pros.

This is clearly an attempt at trolling. Everyone knows that Lionel Messi is the Ballon D'or winner this year and every year, and always will be.

It's just fucking ages since he's been anywhere near being the best player.

Also on Saturday - at the same time as us, Palace v Burnley (away win, please) and Brighton v Everton. Sheffield United, if they still matter, play away at Wolves on Sunday. Brentford away at West Ham on Monday. No game for Luton as their game with Liverpool was brought forward to yesterday.

    Im torn between a 2-2 and a 2-3.
Their high line will be their undoing and they aren't geared for width atm.
But we have a fresh CDM pairing and a center back with no knees.

Why do we want Palace to lose?

They are ten points or so ahead of us post points deduction. We are competing with Burnley not Palace.

Your assumption on points deduction is worse than mine. And Burnley will finish below Luton, so if we’re below them, we’re fucked anyway.

Burnley are dead and gone and buried. Even if we get a ten point deduction we'll be above them, and amassing points at a far higher rate than them. Better to drag teams above us down into the mire, I think.

I see it as a four horse race with Sheffield U, Burnley, Everton and us.
