You are Robbie Earle and I’ll have my $5

Word for word the same as arguably Port Vale’s greatest midfielder and ex villain said.

What they're ignoring is that the penalty likely wasn't given by VAR because Rogers fouled Anderson in the first place to get past him, and that the ref had been letting clashes like Anderson on Cash go in both directions all afternoon. So he was simply being consistent.

What you're ignoring is that the referee was far from being consistent, he was out of his depth, and his own personal interpretation of the rules was miles from where the guidance has it. Even if that is a shit place, it's hardly promoting consistency to ignore it. You could have reffed that game completely differently. Taking three minutes to then toss a coin over whether Elanga was offside demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the error margin that exists in measurements...not to mention the camera angle wasn't in line, and they were comparing body parts at different heights, plus it looks like they might not even have looked at the defender in the middle who was probably playing him on.

The game was an absolute car crash for the officials.

3 pts. Get it right up ya, you brummie bastards.

He gave the ball away twice but also was integral to all the good stuff, I thought. He's great.

Morgan Gibbs-White is the best player we've had for an incredibly long time. Enjoy him while he's here.

Yes and Murillo. Anderson could yet be as good too.

MGW is great, but for me, the reason we are where we are this season is because of Aina, Milenkovic and Murillo. Our defence is completely transformed and is now a joy to watch.

January is going to be very interesting because the owners will want to kick on from here if we are still in realistic contention for top 4, and they may even do so budgeting on big incoming fees for the likes of MGW and Murillo in the summer (I don't think we will see them sold in January). We're also going to be a more attractive proposition than we were when players like Gimenez and Nketiah rejected us (though thank God they did, as things have turned out).

I get blinded by the lights and entirely forget all the moves that go to die with Gibbs White which leaves us in desperate need of an incredible last 20. Mainly because I drink anti freeze, peanut butter and batshit smoothies.

As a fully paid up member of the MGW fan club, I think Anderson might be eclipsing him. He's so decisive and progressive in everything he does.

I enjoyed that, the game was very tame until they got their goal. But it was good to watch why this was happening as they were very organised with every player behind the ball, looking to drive forward as a pack when opportunities allowed.

But it didn’t stop the silly old cunt to my left shouting and moaning from the off.

In Anderson and MGW we have two players who have extraordinary control of the ball and composure in tight spaces and at great speed. They're also both very physically strong with low centres of gravity and can pick passes. We've done very well to get them from other premier league teams. They just need to score a few more.
