    Fcuk yes!

Love Beans on Toast. It's probably another British Institution that isn't long for the Island after Chocolate and fish and chips. Nice one Brexit!

Baked beans is not a British dish by really any stretch of the imagination, nor is it European. And that sugary muck that comes in cans is a very poor approximation of the dish at its best.

I absolutely hate when professional broadcasters butcher a phrase through ignorance. If you don't understand something, don't use it. (I'm not talking about you lawsy, you are exempt because you hardly know how words work).

Anyway, apparently (according to sooty) Taiwo is in a rich vein. Of what we are not important enough to be told...of iron ore, of the aorta? Who knows?

Presumably the proof will be in the pudding.

It seems, from the news on my radiogram, that australia are once again involved in making a trophy out of burning stuff and putting it in tupperware*. This time with New Zealand, and football.

The thing that I have been thinking about too much today, is what sport the aussies and me would compete against each other, for the remains of cotgrave church.

    * this might not be true.

I don't think it's a good idea to let tricky in the sea, not unless Greenpeace are already standing by to fend off Japanese ships.

Greenpeace have long since ruined beech holidays for me. You are enjoying a nice Marguerite, on your lounger, and all of a sudden the rainbow fucking warrior shows up, and keeps trying to refloat you.

    No more.

There seems to be a lot of talk about deeply held beliefs. As if that somehow legitimises them. Not if they are wrong, it doesn't.

That your deeply held beliefs ignores cosmology, mathematics, and physics, to conclude that the earth is flat, isn't going to make satellites work.

Belief is often merely a state that self-rationalises an opinion that is demonstrably incorrect.

Sometimes I put a contact lens in, my eye feels unpleasant, then adjusts to the intruder, and my vision improves. Then I look down and my contact lens is still on the end of my finger. Weird. Is short-sightedness purely a lifestyle choice? Is it entirely psychosomatic? If I could really be arsed, would I be able to see just fine?

Jordan Henderson continues to get a lot of flack for going to Saudi Arabia. How is it any different from going to ManShitty or Newcastle?

If you want to play for the best teams with the best players, you pretty-much have to take some unsavoury money. Wanting to get to the very top of your profession is a better justification for taking unsavoury money than wanting to play exhibition football in pretend league.

Also, Man City players are, first and foremost, representing Man City…. not Abu Dhabi. I’d wager most people couldn’t name the clubs that those guys in Saudi are playing for. Because they aren’t there to play for clubs, they are there to play for the Saudi government.

But, absolutely, these things are all on the same spectrum. But the the respective value judgements are not the same because the considerations being balanced are not the same.

Nobody, except RC, wants to eat Rabbit shit.. but doing it for £200k a week and a shot at the Champions League is different to doing it for £200k a week and a shot at getting sacked if you speak up about things you believe in.
