That's what the BBC are saying it is - but you could equally interpret it as an Anfield-stylee narrow midfield in front of a back 4: Savona-Milenkovic-Morato-Neco: Domínguez-Yates-Sangaré-McAtee: MGW-Kalimuendo. Or a 4-3-3 (McAtee & MGW either side of Kali). Or a 4-3-2-1 (McAtee & MGW just behind Kali).
Let's hope the players have a clearer idea than we have, but on the whole I am pretty happy with that team, given the constraints of what is available. Perfect world sees MGW rested as well, but there ain't much on the bench to replace him in midfield - just Ndoye & assorted kids - so needs must, I guess.
Given how we've been effective, I'm not keen on having no wide players, and MGW is a security mixed bag out there, but it's what we've got. I'm pleased we are resting some.
