I was a shit ref (but with a good heart) when j reffed the Forest v millwall ifc game and played ‘injury time’ until Forest scored. Only then did I blow the final whistle and scarper. Happy days.

In other news, I’m with Ingo; they’re not all shit, people make mistakes. There’s just a ridiculous amount of scrutiny on every tiny incident.

    I call for AI refs.

    NIce one JIm!

I think we should start a campaign to dump VAR and go back to the days where the refs took a back hander to ref the games where Anderlecht, scum Utd or LIvercunts would get the favourable decisions.

    Them were the days.

But, no seriously VAR is wank. Get rid of it. The player is even rule should be implemented as the offensive player should be given the benefit of the doubt and we shouldn't have to deal with milimetres. It's a farce.

I was a ref and I explained and verbalized every decision. The players whilst not always agreeing did respect that.

The refs should get better training and more money. The VAR twats should fuck off to the states and get paid there.

    Chicago: Man in black.

Any ideas about getting rid of VAR are for the cuckoo's. To much money has been spent on it now.

Pish. We spent a lot more on Harry Arter and Jonjo Shelvey and no one wants to keep them around.

I think that admitting they fucked it all up will be a bigger barrier than the money. The people who run the show… it’s not their money anyway… but it is their status and their reputations.

VAR stays. Only Wolves voted against.

Lots of people on social media don't understand why but our complaints really were about refereeing, rather than VAR itself.

Tell me that on hearing the released dialogue between VAR and the referee, over the Rice sending off, that you didn't think "fuck me, all referees are shit" and I won't be able to believe you.
