Happy to defer to his judgment obviously and can only look in from the outside,

I wouldn't, he is clearly wrong as I have told him many times.

There is a growing frustration over Cooper's team selection apparently, especially around the continued absence of Ricardo and Fatawu.

Fatawu was the winger who changed the game on Saturday.

Palace I'm more worried for after last night - they need to sort out Wharton and Mateta and get Nketiah scoring and seem far too reliant on Eze to do something amazing.

Thought Wharton was the next big thing - only just noticed he stayed on the bench last night. Just a dip in form?

To be fair I'm not entirely convinced it's fair to assume FoxesTalk as being truly representative of their wider fanbase given it seems largely populated by adolescents who communicate mostly by emoji and playground argument. EBP's probably a regular.

    That all being said, Leicester.

Die club, die. Really, actually cease to be. Cunts.

The growing frustration I referenced came from a Leicester-supporting uni pal of mine rather than Foxes Talk, but, yes, fair bit of that feeling on there.

Looking increasingly like Southampton, Ipswich and one of Leicester, Wolves and Palace to go down. West Ham have got too much quality and Everton (and Dyche) always find a way.

Still think Leicester are the most likely - after Brighton away this weekend Wolves had got a run of 8 that they will surely start to pick up points and move up the league. Palace I'm more worried for after last night - they need to sort out Wharton and Mateta and get Nketiah scoring and seem far too reliant on Eze to do something amazing.

Palace beating Spurs breaks this narrative slightly but I still think my overall conclusion was right. The three promoted teams are going back down. The only remaining question is the order and whether Southampton get 12 points (spoiler:

    they will

    ).

They'll get 12 but Ipswich looking like they're cut adrift. At least Wolves have the option of sacking O'Neill if they lose tomorrow.

I would still urge caution. We are the lowest scorers, and have the second worst goal difference, in the top half...and currently things are going well for us. Goals scored/difference does tend to be a closely correlating statistic to league position, over the course of a season.

Don’t worry we are going to buy a mint goal scorer in the January window and then we will be golden. Or wolves give up and we get Cunha.

    No me neither….

Ipswich and Soton look a bit fooked. If The latter stop playing out of the back like twats they can get 12 points.

When you say urge caution, you don't mean because you think we could still go down do you? I can't see that happening now, even if we implode.

If the mint goalscorer is a centre forward, he'll just replace the one we've already got.
We need goals from the rest of the team (yesterday was a step in the right direction).

Goals scored is a concern, especially given our Wood reliance, but goal difference is less so. Apart from Tottenham, the other teams from 5th to 11th are on 0 to 3, with us on 1, covering a 2 point range.

I don't think anyone* is getting complacent. Let us enjoy this.

    *Anyone serious, at least
