Been sick last couple of days. Pretty sure it's the rona, feels like the other two times I had it. This is annoying because a) I get vaccinated religiously specifically to avoid this happening, and b) I'm supposed to be going on a date tomorrow and she also has it, so that's almost certainly not going to happen.

I honestly can't recall the last time I was unwell enough to be in bed for the day or more. I guess mostly working remotely helps. Though outside of that I'm pretty social, football matches, pubs, regularly on trains etc - so not sure. Maybe I've just got a strong immune system.

I'm not laid up, I'm just coughing a lot and somewhat stuffed up. Doesn't feel like a cold.

None of the Covid or Flu vaccines prevent you from getting it, they just minimize the impact. TUP

We can't get COVID vaccines over here, can't even pay for it as far as I know.

WTF? We are encouraged to get flu and covid at the same time, I have to pay a prescription charge but it's covered under my benefits package.

Looks like some Boots do it for a fee, I didn't know that, don't think it's well publicised.
Flu is available for £20-25.

I had flu and Covid together before last winter. And mrs charlie has just been invited to book a Covid jab. But she is classed as vulnerable.
