I'm now in a ward awaiting surgery tomorrow, turns out the 'flu' spread a lot of naughty germs about the body and I have an infection in the screw in my leg.

It burst this morning, disgusting but the pain relief was incredible.

Tomorrow I am a screw looser.

Sounds a bit grim. Glad I only have mildly sprained ankle, that I can't remember doing, to worry about.

My son is also awaiting surgery at Kingston hospital. Went to GP 5pm last night as been feeling bad since Friday and has a cyst on his back that looked infected.

GP said had to go straight to a and e to get it drained.

Wife and son finally got home at 230am, needs general anaesthetic to remove it all, has antibiotics for bacterial infection and anti parasite meds for parasite infection in it.

He got three hours sleep or so in before up and back to hospital for 830 this morning. After couple of hours they've seen the anaesthetist and surgery should be this afternoon.

Staff in a and e last night said they had never seen it as bad (which sounds to me like when a band say "you're the best crowd we've had" every night of the tour).

I am feeling shit at home also, though hopefully not a parasitic cyst.

So your son has been affected by an alien that is growing out of his back?

This is some weird Ridley Scott shit... Or the U.K. seems to be now eating non EU approved meat. So much for me fleeing back there... Anyway, sounds horrid. Get better family and start eating different things.
