Yes yes yes. Please sit down and be quiet while I goad the MAMIL with his carbon fibre race weapon and his ridiculous claims of looking good in lycra.

You keep grinding at the gym my friend.

    Rise and grind, brother!

In other medical news I had an ultrasound last week. Good - I don't have cancer. Bad - I do have this. It's pretty uncomfortable.

Got a post-scan Dr appointment today. Reading online seems I might need an op. Great.

Pretty sure this has come about from cycling, on a hard seat / often bumpy roads, and not wearing padded cycling shorts. Wear cycling shorts people.

    Also, leave those goats alone.

After four years, I've finally succumbed to COVID. Just like a bad cold with an irritating cough so far, so hopefully nothing worse than that.

I might be the only Covid virgin left. The long term cardiovascular implications has me still taking precautions.

    Get better.

The last Covid bout, which co-incided with my moving house almost 3 months ago is still lingering.

Still the crushing icepick through temple / head in a vice 'Covid head' headache (I call it that as it's unlike any other sort I've ever experienced) every morning without fail and often during the day for short periods, but most of all the lethargy and feeling of absolute exhaustion, even after a good, healthy 7 to 8 hours sleep.

Still, I'm alive so small wins and all that.

Fcukin tory cnuts slashing NHS funding because they're, well, just cnuts.
LMJ3 is awaiting an ADHD assessment.
    Referred May 2022 - told 18-month wait.
Called 18 months later, in Nov 2023 - ah, we only got the school's questionnaire in February, so the clock starts then and it's now a 20-month waiting list.
Called today, as 20 months should be Nov 2024, so thought they might have an idea. Nope, it's now a three-year waiting list, so hopefully she'll be seen by February 2026.

By the time they get round to her, she wont qualify for an assessment, as no longer a child.

Not sure if it’s appropriate as you don’t mention the age group but may be worth checking the adhd-360.com website. They currently have a three to four month wait period and can be accessed through the Right to Choose program.

I volunteer with a young people’s charity and have seen them recommended here so service should be of good quality.
