A year ago I would have said the same. I do think that it was possible that I was suffering from a post-viral fatigue. Having got in better shape, and done a bit more fitness work - and crucially being illness free for a bit, I would say that I'm much improved.

I'm fifty eight shortly. I wouldn't say that being over fifty, as of itself, is reason to be unable to manage ongoing physical exercise, and have periods of relative incapacity. Diet, sleep, and regular exercise should be relatively thought out.... but for me if you are doing that, but can't, there's a possible sub-optimal health issue.

Had a bit of day on Friday after I collapsed outside Newark hospital (nearly made it) on Friday afternoon and ended up on a drip, couldn't stand. I'd been having a few bouts of dizziness in the past couple of weeks but this one was next level. Apparently I've got an ear infection (which is on brand) which induced a panic attack (which very much isn't) and all the other tests were fine. Just to be on the safe side I've avoided googling dizzy spells.

    Sorry to hear.

Did you still manage to down 6 pints of Madri last night though?

    Classic goat aids symptoms.

Sadly not, my Madri consumption is at an all time low but I'm hoping to get back on it for the test match.

Maybe it could be a Madri deficiency.

Sorry to hear that. I was about to come on here and say how unpleasant my Covid symptoms have been over the past few days, but my woes seem trivial. Hope you're soon feeling better.

Dizzy spells for gammon? Sounds a bit mincey to me....

Hope you are okay young man. Panic attacks are not funny...genuinely terrifying and can induce dangerous symptoms. I have (anecdotally) noticed a number of people with inner ear balance problems...since covid. Possible post viral complication? I doubt there's much research going into it....no need to go pandering to lazy layabouts, when they could be working three amazon warehouse jobs for below a living wage.

Glad you are ok and hopefully now well on the mend. Nothing a few Madri’s and a little bit of TUP won’t sort.

And now post bloods I'm being called in for an ECG. Routine coincidence or fuck me I'm fucked?

I would guess it depends on how many goats you have been near recently?

If it helps, it was suggested to me that I had an ECG a couple of years ago, Senora Mus was panicking (or looking forward to collecting on the insurance polices) for several weeks before the actual ECG, the consultant took one look at the results and just said make sure you drink more fluids when exercising.

Biggest mistake I've made is to have told the Mrs. Now I have to look after her.
I'm expecting it all to be run of the mill. I'm not young anymore and I guess I can't quite do the stupid things that occur to me. And yes, I should drink less.

"Drink more fluids", "Not those fluids" for some reason reminds me of "Have a touch", "Not that one".

The devil is all in the detail.

There's no doubt that at my sort of age you start to feel your mortality a bit more.....if it's a nudge to look after yourself a bit more, and maximise your health and happiness (both physically and mentally), it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Covid here. Groggy but otherwise ok, probably from last Fridays hospital visit. Still occasionally dizzy but able to control that. Was meant to be doing a stint in a 24hr football thing tomorrow but have had to accept defeat on that.

Hope you get better soon young man.

I mean the covid, obviously. I doubt your football is going to develop much from this point...

Sorry to hear that. I tested positive last Wednesday and still feel pretty dreadful. First time since Easter 2020 that it's got me so any immunity I might have had from that or the jabs will have long gone.

    It's kicked my arse.

Sorry to hear about the panic attack malarkey and trust you're now over that one.
Nice to hear the NHS are now operating a trade-in service. Panic attack in return for a covid infection seems reasonable as long as it's not a severe dose.
What do you get for foot-knack? If it's something not terminal I could be interested.
