I think that means you are a witch.

    Was a witch?

I think in other times, less enlightened, more religious, I would have definitely been burned as a witch.

Over a pyre of chics comics.

    On a distant Pacific atoll.

Well, the church burning is a bit iffy. You can see the witch finder general taking a dim view.

You set fire to one measly little church, and the religious mutters never let you forget it. Look at what you bastards did at the siege of Antioch. Have you not got a shred of empathy? Tolerance? Reach into your teachings, and turn the other cheek? Do you fuck. It's all coffee mornings, rock climbing, and doing the devils work with you bunch of bastards.

When they rebuilt Cotgrave Church they put some soft furnishings in there that would probably go up a treat. #justsaying

Belated, but big vote for implants from me. I had a crown, and then a bridge, for a couple of my chompy front teeth for a long time (all as a result of a playground disaster, not the years of poor dental hygiene that means my back teeth are a disgrace). When the tooth holding the bridge finally gave up entirely I got an implant and it is orders of magnitude better.. and the experience was way less traumatic than my tricky-like wisdom teeth removal.

A few months back another crowned tooth failed (that crown was all on me) so I currently have the bone healing up ready for an implant there too. I’ll have fully bionic teeth by the time I’m 50, at this rate.

Costs a bundle, obviously, but isn’t that what not-having-kids is all about? I don’t have to pay for their dental care, so I can splash out on my own.

I hate the dentists chair but, seriously, it’s fine. If you’ve got to have something done anyway, you may as well get the best thing done.

There's a lot of turkey teeth about. Quite often those people look fucking ridiculous.

    Also 41.

I didn’t go to the dentist from 18-39 years of age.

Went for a check up two years ago and all fine despite the 21 year absence.

Went this year and they found a filling needed doing in a wisdom tooth, it wasn’t causing any issue at all but had it done this week. There’s a chance it might need removing as filling is near the nerve but it seems ok so far.

Your mistake was going to the dentist.

As a man I only go to the dentist when the pain is so bad it is causing me to argue with close family members about why I am not going to the fucking dentist.

I appear to have fucked up my shoulder after lifting this morning. It was sore, but nothing out of the ordinary, then suddenly mid morning (a couple of hours after I'd left the gym) I moved my arm and there was a clicking sensation in it and a stabbing pain. Same happened again late afternoon.

Going to assume that this will be fixed by taking a bunch of vitamins and electrolytes and doing mostly legs for the next couple of days.

Got a splinter in my hand yesterday while gardening. Little fucker was in quite deep so removed this morning with the old steamed-needle trick.

Slightly inflamed but seems to be calming down. Reckon I'll survive it.
