This is such a strange thing when I had it. It felt incredibly painful. Much more than I would have thought a muscle related injured could be. Felt like I'd fractured some bones somehow. But 1-2 days after and lots of rolling a tennis ball under my feet, I felt fine.

    Ligament attachment, not muscular.

One of the football lads is playing for the first time tonight having had it since the RH marathon.

Quite common for footballers as well as runners.

Oh is it? Well anyway, it's fucking painful. It'll have been running for me that did it.

It's a thick band of tissue that connects the heal to the toes. It can get very annoyed when our running or even walking gaits affect the striking of the foot. Amongst many other things. Also as you get older collagen wears down and that can also contribute to the condition. Good thing you chaps are young and don't have to worry about that. Sean mind you has the body of a 90 year old so I think he's fucked.

    Chicago: King of pain.

Went for my Covid booster on Wednesday. Had the aches and shivers yesterday but I'm fine now, thanks.

Had the flu jab yesterday. I'm fine.

Little Miss Shady is having breathing problems again though. Whacked her with a load of inhaler and sent her to school though. She's already had one day off this week. Going to go at lunch and see how she is.

Broken wisdom tooth (the residual stump from failed root canal surgery) out today. Apparently I have long curved roots, and strong bones.

I'm guessing that is not good in this circumstance?

Mother in law was visiting this weekend. This is probably an unfortunate time to have bought a house with four flights of stairs.

She being 75 years old slipped on said stairs. She has buggered her hip, ankle and ankle definitely sprained her groin. Might be a tear. Also feeling nauseous. She has insisted that she didn’t hit her head.

So learning a new skill today. How to move someone around who cannot walk without carrying her and also arranging wheelchair service at the airport to get her to and from and into the plane with my car which is a two door. Wifey managed to get a flat tyre yesterday. Oh joy.

    Chicago: Feeling the pressure.
