My Wife has Ovarian cancer and it has spread. The Oncologist said it cannot be cured as it has left the ovary but they may be able to contain it. Finally after six moths of being messed around she has Chemo next Thursday. She also had two long spells in hospital and has had a Nephrostomy. Its not been an easy time. Her general health has been poor. I try to remain positive but I am really worried.

Sorry to hear that donny, it must be an incredibly worrying time. I'm hoping for the best for you and your wife. Just do what you can, day by day.

Yes, sorry to hear that Donny. Hope the new few weeks and months bring some positive news.

All the very best with that donny. It's genuinely very good to have you back and I hope things improve for you. Sounds like your situation is not without hope, at least.

I woke up this morning ( bonus so far) with a really, really excruciating, but inexplicable pain in my right foot.

So much so that I'm hobbling like a Richards after signing and can barely put any weight on it. Its really painful. There is no swelling and looks OK but fuck me it hurts.

    Really odd.

    Been near any goats recently?

I'm guessing gout - do you have any swollen joints?

Ah - that would be a no.... maybe secret gout?

    Or just time to TUP?

Nope. Nothing swollen and otherwise in reasonably good shape a little overweight but in general good health, eat well, I don't drink and gave up the cigs over a year ago. Recently had my old knacker health check and BP / cholesterol all OK.

Also no farmyard bumming ever so it's all a bit mysterious.

I'm going with aliens wnd TUP although no mysterious jigsaws have happened.

Suspiciously specific on the animal bumming. What other contexts have you been bumming animals in?

Well he said farmyard bumming so we can’t rule out any zoo-related tomfoolery…

Or goats in a field - or his bedroom. His denial has raised more questions than answers.

Did you say gout or goat?

Might be one of the same….

    UPDATE

Still smarting like fuck. Really painfully.

No inflamation or redness anywhere, all other appendages, are pain free, and working as they should (limbs, joints etc) all ok, so I think we can rule out gout. I mean, I don't know, I'm not a doctor or facebook hun, so my knowledge is limited, but I would have thought it unlikely.

I think I can also safely rule out all forms of animal interference, regardless of imaginary location supposed by the webmongz.

My feet have been very sore lately. Not sure if it's a side effect of the steroids or as a result of low blood pressure.

Gout is a build up of Uric acid so it can present in the foot You could also have a neuroma (which is essentially a pinched or very irritated nerve around the toes that radiate.). Thickening of tissue usually causes that. You could have a entrapped nerve or plantar fasciitis. All these things point to trapped or irritated nerves.

Try stretching out the foot in a calf raise and see if that alleviates any pain. Stretching the foot will generally not cause any damage and in many instances can relieve pain.

There an awful lot of nerves in the foot so start there and see where you go. Taking an anti inflammatory might not be a bad idea either. Just don't drink with it..

Hopefully this helps... Or it could be a lack of premier league football and you need to kick a football around as the foot is restless.

    Chicago: Mostly serious.

This is such a strange thing when I had it. It felt incredibly painful. Much more than I would have thought a muscle related injured could be. Felt like I'd fractured some bones somehow. But 1-2 days after and lots of rolling a tennis ball under my feet, I felt fine.
