Loopy Teggy gets the boot from the 'Appy 'ammers. Bugger. I was enjoying how shit they were. Looks like Potter is in line for the gig and might recall JWP.

    Chicago: Sad.

Such a shame. He's one of those brilliant con jobs. Looks like a manager. Isn't an actual manager.

Far too blinky to be a manager.

Cooper also in the running - does not appear to be a popular choice in East London.

There's photos of Potter with the West Ham sporting director in a hotel reception this afternoon.

Perhaps they are having an affair?

I think I'd definitely use that as a cover story, if the alternative was admitting that I worked for the porngolds.

It'd be funny as fuck if Moyes went back. And did alright again. And then left again.

I'm not sure why exactly, it just would be.

I have seen an as yet unsbstantiated rumour that Dyche is about to get the tin tack. Which would be mad, IMO.

I think the new owners might want Potter.... And he's being courted by wet hams. So it looks a bit like jumping while the manager they want is still available. I think Dyche is the best man to keep Everton up... But the fans really don't like him.

My Burnley-supporting friend texted earlier to say how much this current Forest side reminds him of the Dyche one which got Clarets finishing fifth and qualifying for Europe a few seasons ago (in terms of the confidence, team spirit and ability to keep winning).

That must have completely passed me by. No recollection of that at all.

Early reports of free flowing front foot attacking possession based football have proved unfounded. Personally I'm delighted. The way we set up is the way to punch above our weight. I could not have imagined by how much, even after the great unbuilding projects.

Solid at the back, fluent on the break. It's as good football, when done well, as any other style. We are a bloody good side. The last thing I want us too do is open up and think we are something that we are not.

I also have a Burnley friend, unless its the same person we have probably covered off half the fanbase. Anyhoo, I remember their European adventure, they didn't even get to cross the sea, they got tumped by Aberdeen in some qualifying game before the season started and that was the end of that chapter.
