    I wish Palace were just a bit nearer the relegation zone and this could have made things interesting.

    They are as far ahead of us as we are of West Ham. But you see one as impossible and the other as nearly inevitable?

    For some reason a line of his that's forever stuck in my head is: "Fraaaserr, theyyy'r wee babb-ies on tae bench" (when complaining about lack of squad depth and having to call on the kids)
