Was he the one who was coming back from a broken leg, and shit for the entire (about a month) time he was here?

My recollection was that he looked decent, clearly not match-fit and understandably mentally scarred from the injury, but an obvious class act.

The problem was the weather rather than Ramsey, in that it was unseasonably cold during his loan and a bunch of matches that he would likely have been involved in got postponed.

Yes. After thatbhigh profile 'horror-tackle' from Stoke cunt, IIRC.

Oh yes, you could see his class. It was just pointless from our point of view.

    Right. Ryan Shawcross.

    Yes. That's him.

Also, for some reason, I always get Ramsay confused with Bendtner. Who, apart from a tenous Arsenal connection and having also spent some mostly forgetable and largely ineffectual time with us at some point, have absolutely nothing in common with one another at all.

Tony Mowbray fired by West Brom after 3 months in charge. Losing to Derby will do that, I guess.

Rob Dorsett says that Martin is on Leicester's shortlist, along with Danny Rohl and Lee Carsley.

Foxes Talk has taught me that Ancelotti, Enrique or Inzaghi could turn up and they still wouldn't be happy.

Saints have been fluttering their eyelids at Rohl for months, according to the local press round here. Can’t see Carsley going there from U-21s.

Martin & Lestoh are a marriage made in heaven. Can’t stand the guy

And Cesc Fabregas according to Percy.

I find it hard to believe that he would be that interested in leaving a job in Serie A for an unsettled Championship club with a poor squad, few saleable assets, and an unknown penalty hanging over them. They are not an appealing prospect right now, and of the three relegated teams they're by far the ones with the worst chance of bouncing straight back.

This is hilarious. From The Independent:

So they could be faced with the choice of sticking with van Nistelrooy, or getting rid and incurring a further a points penalty.

Seems to be some talk that Leeds are going to bin off Farke.
