I also have a Burnley friend, unless its the same person we have probably covered off half the fanbase. Anyhoo, I remember their European adventure, they didn't even get to cross the sea, they got tumped by Aberdeen in some qualifying game before the season started and that was the end of that chapter.

That's marvellous. Trust Burnley to have the most brexshitting European tour ever.

A quick investigation suggests this may not be 100% FACT. If you could bare with me for 10 minutes whilst I nuke the Wikipedia page.

Your version sounds better than the real one so I'm happy to go with it as FACT.

He really is - it's not like Potter (or anyone else) is going to be able to make them a free-flowing attacking threat - they just don't have the players or the time to do it. So they put the boring defensive stuff that will probably keep them up at risk with only a very limited chance of being able to improve them going forward.

Stick with Dyche until the summer and then appoint your shiny new manager - otherwise you might keep Leicester up.

I wouldn't be too upset if we kept Leicester at the expense of Everton, big club goes down is always funny and whilst we are smashing the league it's nice to have a local derby.

Nope, can't risk the three promoted teams giving Leicester a chance next season. They need to go down and get their EPL-finances medicine.

I think Ipswich are more likely to stay up. Seem more settled as a club and have a reliable striker who isn't in his mid 40s. And less likely to have a points deduction (although fully expect Leicester, as usual, to dodge punishment for their financial shenanigans).

I thought Leicester would stay up under Cooper. Luckily they've done the honourable thing and chucked the towel in. Ipswidge my preference to stay up now. Bye bye wolves.

Presumably we're ruling out Palace, Wet Ham and, most disappointing, ManU, so it's 2 from 4. My preference would be Leicester and Everton. Especially if Everton sack Dyche.

Although if Ipswidge got relegated, i wouldn't mind a couple of their players.

He doesn't know it, but Dyche is the friend of a friend, and Woany is someone I've socialised with before, and have always liked. And Stoney once pinched an ex's arse when we were out having dinner.

So I'm team Everton for reasons of personnel.

    Do they have CL experience?

Dyce sort of lives in Radcliffe. Woany did live in Radcliffe.

Looks like Rob Edwards is getting sacked by Luton just before they play us. Nathan Jones is sad that he's currently employed by Charlton.

And Lopetegui has been sacked by West Ham.

  • Jeff_Albertsonhelp_outline

And Edwards leaves Luton by mutual consent.
Does New manager bounce apply in the cup?

Feels like they've probably suffered this season from the shock of not being underdogs for the first time in however many years - you get relegated with a parachute payment and you are a target. Although, of course, they are massive underdogs on Saturday (we are 2/5 on) which probably suits them better.
