There will be six-eight midweek rounds of 12 games where all will be available via red button etc, plus two or three bank holidays and the final day of season on a Sunday where it will be the same.
How many live games are there this season to compare?
Not sure but this is from the BBC: There will be 10 live EFL fixtures shown every weekend, with five from the Championship and five from League One and League Two
So that’s 5 out of 12 shifted every weekend. And we’d be a disproportionate number of those, so you can assume more than half of our weekend games won’t be at 3 on Saturday. Lots of Friday and Saturday nights, I expect.
Not hugely different from the EPL then, except we’re less of a draw in the top flight (our rearranged games are often due to the opposition rather than us).
How will they stagger 10 games though
Fri eve, Sat lunchtime, tea time, evening
Sun lunchtime, afternoon, teatime, evening
Mon evening
Still only nine unless they lift the Saturday at 3pm rule.
