Something of a large gent.
Something of a large gent.
I don't want a back 3
We clearly are going for it more based on possession and shots on target. And it's been like that since Nuno's first game against Bournemouth. The difference this season is we're doing that but not at the expense of keeping a shape and defending from the front better. It's not swarm of bees so much as a group of satellites orbiting a Kiwi's arse in an orderly way. Cooper meanwhile was playing a low block, waiting/hoping for errors and then trying to spring teams on the break. We were not bad at that and there is useful experience from that period that we still apply now, but if it is all you can do it's never going to get you near midtable in this league.
Has Awoniyi remembered how to play football now?
A left sided Brazillian-Portugese centre back of unknown quality, utilised in situations like this.
Our final ball has been a case of so nearly or wrong option tonight.
7 added is about 2 more than I hoped.
It's about 3 more than is justified too.
Murillo has played some amazing balls. Also spotted some amazing passes and missed a big percentage. He's going to be world class if he makes them, or cuts out the ones he doesn't make. Happy to have him try though. It's still learning for him.
Certainly our best ball playing centre half since Mickey D.
And we make a mess of a 3 on 1 with a wrong decision / final ball. Sums it up, but thankfully it's over.
I'm gonna call it. We've had an excellent start and we aren't getting relegated this year. It's a good time to be a Forest fan who is alive.
How is it for the dead forest fans?
They're looking down smiling, I hope.
Rode our luck a bit at times but mostly that was an impressively professional PL performance. Defence looks good and the goalkeeper is in decent form. Palace look a shadow of the team of the past few seasons.
Very happy with a point at Leicester now. Three would be fantastic.
That's what peadophiles do.
