    5-0?

This was the banker wasn't it with their injuries?

With the way we’re batting no chance of any draws.

Imagine if you've travelled down there with tickets for day 3 and 4.

Woke up around 4am. Checked the score. Laughed at Crawley's 11 ball pair - even though I didn't bet on a 1st over wicket this time around.
Went back to sleep with England 100 ahead and only 1 down.
Woke up around half 8. Checked the score. First fuck's sake of the day.
Oh well. I'm sure they'll take the positives, learn from this...and change relatively fuck all.

Does anyone regard any test in Australia as “a banker”? Best chance, with Hazlewood and Cummins out, sure. And there’s a fair probability that, come the end of the series, requiring them to get the game’s highest score in the fourth innings, will have been our best chance.

This is what annoys me. Having several years to plan, what they've come up with is keep doing the schoolyard de-skilled just throw your bat and hope for the best. Result: Humiliating 8 wicket loss inside two days. Series dead.

I say annoys me. It doesn't, because as soon as I saw that they weren't taking the game seriously I stopped watching. It's been years since I've given a fuck about cricket, because there's no form played that I enjoy.

More ducks (4), more brain dead batting and a wicketkeeper who would get pilloried on here were alas Smith called Jones.

I think catches dropped are now beating ducks 5-4.

What I don't understand is why there was so much optimism about England doing well?

Presume it was just to drive TV subscriptions.

Ok, we tried this approach, with the expected outcome. Can we try playing proper cricket for the next cycle?

Turned on to find England 18-0 after just 3 overs. The first ball I watch sees Duckett smash one back at the bowler, who can't hold on.
Strap in - I've a feeling this won't be dull.

Not looking likely. I agree with them.

I mean I expect that it's nice to play in an environment that promises to back you, however much you abandon technique and judgement, and however badly that goes.

Unfortunately it's a rotten spectacle, mugs off the paying public, and will be the death of test Cricket.
