Considering where we were after day 1, this has been a great test so far, hope we can finish it today

Blimey! Tom Hartley’s first ball in Test cricket hit for 6, but he takes 7-62 in the second innings to win the match. Only the 4th Test India have lost at home in 10 years…

Pretty decent Test in Oz, too; Windies won by 8 runs to square series at 1-1

Feels like a deterioration from the overnight position.

Opening with Root rather than the one who got 5 wickets in the 1st innings seems odd. Although I doubt it will matter after yet another pathetic capitulation.

The Pakistan wicketkeeper has an interesting physique for an athlete.

    T20 World Cup anyone?
We are bowling like a Sunday league side. Gonna be an interesting run chase…

Scotland batting 10 overs without losing a wicket seems bad. Guessing D/L is not our friend here.

Need 109 off 10 with only 3 overs of power play. Although it’s raining again so it’ll probably change.

Was the weather forecast bad or the umpires? Seems weird that they got Scotland out to bat for 5 more overs, rather than giving England 5 overs to chase 60 or 70 if that was the time available.

George Dobell said the same thing yesterday on Twitter. Does seem short-sighted.

I guess it's because the forecast isn't 100% reliable. I also don't think there's any precedent for it.
No batting side in a good position would want to stop at 5 overs to give the other team a chance to bat just because it might rain a bit later...

They were saying that 51/0 after 5 overs would have given England a target of 66, which would have been a big ask from 30 balls.

States really ought to beat Pakistan from here.
