Amazon is making a new series of The Grand Tour but with new presenters.

One of which is Francis wassisname, the (I thought fictional character, but seems not) trainspotting guy.

It's an odd one, as I thought TGT was Clarkson Hammond and May's own thing, and Amazon with Amazon being the platform on which it was streamed. Guess not.

I would guess they own the production company, which is happy to keep making money from the franchise without the now geriatric three having to actually do the work.

I'll give it a go, I was in it for the adventure specials visiting places i'd probably never go to as much as cars/blokey humour/casual racism.

Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but the second season of Shrinking is currently being released, old school one episode a week, on Apple TV and it's a great programme, brilliant writing and cast. First time I've seen Harrison Ford play such a strong character arc rather than a movie star part and he is remarkable.

I think you mean Season 3. The first two seasons were good. They open the third with an hour plus episode which was horrible in it's aaaw I love you saccharine and not much of a story. The only interesting thing left is Harrison ford. I didn't really laugh at all in this new episode. In fact it was really awful. As i said, I liked the first two seasons so i will stick with it a bit for this one but not impressed so far.

Probably going to tackle Season 2 of The Night Manager (as I loved the first one), and give The Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms a try as it was actually a completed George RR martin book.

Liking Knight of the 7 Kingdoms. It's lite and short episodes but still a good watch.

If anyone has read the GoT books but not the Dunk & Egg short stories (this show is based on), I recommend you do they are great fun.

Finally got round to watching S3 of The White Lotus. Contrary to many reviews I've heard I thought it was the best season yet - kept the same core model of continuous character development where you somehow change your view of most of the characters multiple times through the series, but this time darker, warmer, and in many ways more relatable than previous seasons. No one else is making TV like this. Utterly brilliant.

Watching the final series of What We Do in the Shadows in which they seem to have decided to do a bunch of tv and movie parodies. I’m not against it but I’m not sure many of intended viewers will have even seen Apocalypse Now, let alone The Warriors. Also Natasha Demetriou was obviously very pregnant and they barely attempt to cover it up - again, I can go with it but it is a distraction.

If you are watching new gentle BBC comedy, small prophets, you will almost see the bar I drink in as they wander down the street pissed. But not quite.
The pub they film in where they get pissed in, I have drunk in. Wouldn't recommend it.
His house is just round the corner from where I used to live.
I hope that enriches your day

I'm onto the fourth episode of Fallout and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that it's stupid and irritating.

I managed one and a bit.

Mrs. Seán tells me I've become increasingly impatient and unwilling to process new things as I get older.

I counter I'm just less tolerant of horsehit drivel.

I rather like it and it goes from strength to strength in the second season. Being a fan of Walton Goggins helps. I can see how the humor can grate.

I made it through 45 minutes and then threw the telly through the window. Terrible acting, yawnsville scenario. Absolute bag of shit.
