I have been recommended The Pitt as a show worth watching. In reading about it I was amused to discover that it's the brainchild of this guy. It's nice to see he's keeping busy.

Update: just finished The Pitt. It was absolutely superb if you like hospital dramas, which I do. First few episodes feel a bit creaky at points but it's well worth sticking with because it builds and builds to a quite incredible crescendo.

I'm not sure it's available in the UK at the moment unfortunately.

Well good Lord. Episode Two of the new season of The Last of US is superb. It was everything the Game Of Thrones Night King attack on Winterfell should have been but they fucked it up and make it dark. This episode is in a Snow storm and is done brilliantly. High quality, action, story, effects. If you haven't played the game (which I haven't), then don't ask anyone what is going on so you can watch and be surprised. It really is high quality television at it 's finest. Something HBO does best.

Also Dying for Sex if you want something lighter. Based on a True story about a woman dying of cancer who wants to experience new things. I found it funny and touching (if you excuse the pun).

    Chicago: Stimulated.

Ergo: season 3 of White Lotus was shit.

Season 2, episode 7 of Severance. It's fucking drivel. Wish I wasn't watching it and can't wait for it to be over. Well done for taking a decent premise and making it shit.

I found the show patchy, but that was probably my favourite episode of the whole thing.

I liked the last couple of episodes of Severance season 1. But I'm hoping mrs charlie hasn't realised that there's another season.

Was that the Cobel episode? Just seemed like the way they convinced Patricia Arquette to stick around.

Didn't tell us anything new about her character and was a long walk to a revelation that made the world smaller and less compelling.

    JimShady likes this.

I'm hoping Mrs Less has forgotten we started watching the second series. I have accidentally just cancelled Apple TV

I think it's the one before when we see Gemma/Mark backstory (and her current story).

Ah OK. Despite not really liking the direction they are taking the series as a whole, I thought that one was good but I didn't really buy them as a couple (not sure whether that was intentional).

I was on about the Cobel one. Shit little village. Breaks into her mum's old bedroom. Or something. Fuck knows what it was even about.

Yeah episode 7 is the Gemma episode. The Cobel episode contained the second biggest revelation of the whole story so far though.

Big it may be. But it's stupid and detracts from the show. It was much better when she was just a petty manager who acted weirdly. For me, anyway.

The USS Callister sequel wasn't working for me for the first half hour, and then it became stupidly good.

Charlie Brooker's head is a weird and brilliant and disturbing place.

Really liked the end of the latest Doctor Who episode. I vaguely recall that character and it's a nice move. Certainly better than defaulting to the Daleks, the Master or the Cybermen.
