Enjoyed season three of Clarkson's Farm, and this is from somebody who has always detested Clarkson as a human being. Unless he's added actor to his qualities as journalist, presenter and all-round arsehole, he seems to have developed a sense of humility and some genuine understanding, respect and love for the countryside and farming.

Final episode of Inside Number 9 was pretty self-indulgent but with enough of a story that they just about got away with it and they've earned the right anyway with the consistency and variety of the previous 54 episodes.

Some absolutely amazing writing over the seasons. I've not watched yesterdays episode yet but will do at lunch probably.

Watching the Netflix Tour de France thing, never ceasing to be amused by middle aged men driving up mountains, occasionally crashing into motor bikes, while angrily telling unbelievably fit young men that they need to cycle faster up the same mountains.

The 3 Body Problem is one of my favourite shows I've seen in years. Full of big ideas and heavy on the pathos. I wish more TV had this kind of ambition.

We Enjoyed the Three Body Problem even though it goes a little mental. It is the adaptation of the books by the Game Of Thrones blokes. The difference is that the story is finished so they cannot possibly fuck it up.

Netflix have already given the go ahead for season 2. It would be a travesty if they couldn't finish the trilogy..

    Chicago: One body Problem child.

So The Bear. I thought the second season was perfect and they should have finished it there. It has gone from a human drama in the the first two incarnations into a life meditation. Don't get me wrong, it's still top notch writing and acting but unfortunately it is drifting and seems to have lost where it was wanting to go. I am guessing the show writers were not expecting that it would be such a hit. Anyway, a little birdy told me that they shot season 3 and 4 back to back so hopefully they can round it up nicely. As of now I am disappointed in it as a series but can appreciate the one off episodes for what they are trying to do. As Someone who lives in Chicagoland, I really am lucky that I got a job and a career that basically fell into my lap. Life is hard at the best of times but basically being over worked and exhausted is better than the alternative as that takes a toll too.

American's Sweethearts is the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders documentary. It is entertaining but certainly gives me another excuse to hate the Cowboys even more as they really treat the girls like commodities and not people. I Mean, I guess I expect it but the ladies are delusional in thinking that the organisation actually cares for them.

Tour De France: Unchained. Loved it. Won't be watching the actual race but have grown to like the characters involved.

Chicago: Bit of a mixed bag.

I've seen the first two episodes of S3 of The Bear and it's fair to say it hasn't grabbed me yet.

Against my better judgement I was persuaded to watch House Of The Dragon and damn it I'm hooked now.

Just watched Saving Lives at Sea. There aren’t many folk truly worthy of the hero tag, but for me the RNLI volunteers are right at the top.

Nottingham's own Vicky McClure on Who Do You Think You Are tonight. Quite a moving couple of stories and well, frankly she's very likeable isn't she?
Edit - Mrs Rave reminded me she did a couple of days filming as Covid Supervisor on something Vicky was in a few years ago - Without Sin - sadly Vicky got Covid (not Mrs Rave's fault - it was an off set contraction) but Vicky was utterly charming, polite and apologetic. She's just a nice person.

She does come across as such, yes. I believe trickster is at least a passing acquaintance of hers.

FYI - you both replied before I made a cheeky edit to my post. Just in case you hadn't noticed.
