Yeah, I've been enjoying (if that's the right word) this too. Some brilliant archival footage.

Through 4 episodes. Rock band by far the weakest so far IMO.

Yours is the more common response, tbqh (except racing cars). I just found it had the most well-formed ending which best satisfied me.

Just finished season 3 of Guilt. Maybe even better than the first two series. Really enjoyed it.

    The Idol.

Johnny Depp's daughter , Lynn Rose Depp is exceptional. There is nudity and sex and it's very very boring. The Weekend tries to be creepy and that's creepy in itself.

I am guessing it is based on Britney's life. I am guessing Britney's life was way more interesting.

Anyway she is top totty but I cannot recommend this to anybody who would like a story in their television shows.

The Bear Season 2 is so far magnificent. It encapsulates Chicago perfectly with the working class ethos. The stress that comes with trying to run a business which essentially could fail at any minute and all done in a way that doesn’t seem forced or fake. It’s one of the best television shows around and long May it continue.

    Tremendous job done by all.

Really enjoyed the first series. Hopefully not too long until it makes it to the UK.

    Ditto.

Happy Valley Season 3 aired here. I love the cast and the setting but something was missing from this last iteration. It was almost like a redux of the second season ending. The first go around was the best. Top television. That’s not to say that this was bad. It wasn’t. It just wasn’t magnificent so therefore I was disappointed.

    Chicago: Difficult to please.

Season 2 of the Bear is the finest piece of television you will find anywhere. It was damn near perfection.

I have decided that it is probably the best thing I have seen AND it tops the wire.

    There I said it.

    The Bear is NO.1.

Although it might hold more affection in my heart than most because it is set in Chicago and I can really relate to it. The Christmas Episode... Well all I can say is that I know some of those people...

    Chicago: Enraptured.

I'm three episodes into season 2 and a bit bored. Does it get better?

I got 1.5 episodes into season 1 and got bored too. Maybe it is better if you live in Chicago.

It certainly applies to life here so it resonates with me but I don’t think living in Chicago is a pre-requisite for enjoying the show.

As for Russ’s question does it get better? Yes. Much.

The Christmas episode is something that hits me because I know most of those characters as real people. When you see what a train wreck it is you might wonder who the fcuk I hang out with but I do know these types in everyday life. Some of them are clients.

I just thought it was perfect but as with everything, everyone has a different perspective of life.

Through 6 episodes now and it is better. Season 2 is quite different to S1 though, S2 doesn't have anything like as much of the nerve shredding misery that defined the first season. It's much nicer, and I don't know that that's an improvement.

We enjoyed the first season (although ‘nerve shredding misery’ is probably an apt description of much of it). I wasn’t convinced how much more it had in it to keep me engaged though. Will give season 2 a go.
