Sherwood S1 was really good as someone who lived in a small Notts village (Low Marnham). But not a fun show, no.

Think this has been widely trailed but confirmation that MotD will be presented by Chapman, Cates and Logan going forward: www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq6g2207ldro

Logan is the one I'm least convinced about but it's probably as good an option as they had.

I rarely watch any of the studio analysis or bits in-between just fast forwarding to the highlights anyway, I'd be surprised if others weren't like this and so it makes very little difference who's presenting what.

If you just want the highlights, you can watch them easily on YouTube. Don’t see the point of watching MOTD unless you want a bit of analysis.

On a bigger tv sat with the kids it's a bit easier for me than faffing around with youtube

Tbf I would be less inclined to skip the studio bits if they featured Gabby Logan instead of Jug Ears.

Enjoying the second series of Severance a great deal.

Something it has in common with Succession is that it's either funnier in the second series or just the humour lands better (for me) once you've settled down with the set up and characters.

We are watching the first season now. Whilst I am digging it, Wifey is most definitely not. Her objections will force me to watch it separately only for her to give me shit for watching it without her. Buuuuuuurrrrrds.

Invinsible is ace again. Although again Wifey was curious why she hadn't heard of it when I am. now on the third season. Jeez. Buuuuuuuurrrrrds.

Speaking ofd Burrrrrrrds. White Lotus season 3 is starting and we will be watching that together so that's something.

    Chicago: Flapping around.

It was very slow paced. The last episode or two and the first couple I've watched of S 2 are faster.

'Gaza: how to survive a warzone' on iplayer is compulsive but very harrowing. The sort of TV that makes me thankful for the BBC.

If it is shown over here then I will watch it. I have deep sympathy nowadays for being who are being shit on due to the actions of others.

In other news, season 3 of the White Lotus has just premiered and I can safely say that Patrick Schwarzenegger's character might just be the creepiest of all the iterations. That is all..

Chicago: Trying to expand my horizons.

Thought the final episode of Day of the Jackal mostly delivered, even though it had about three endings with the tacked on teaser for the next series. Although the start was a bit of a cop out -

left him being chased by a load of boats in a not very fast looking fishing boat and then pick up with him having got away from them

Sadly, I totally disagree (except for the spoiler bit). I really enjoyed 8 episodes, the 9th was thrilling but, to be honest, not really my sort of conclusion.
But the 10th episode was awful. I think it was trying to be cute in its storytelling but it totally failed in every stupid choice it made, over and over again.
Culminating in a kind of "just because" situation at the end. I haven't been so annoyed at a TV show in years. I can't remember if I've ever been so annoyed at a TV show.
