Got up at half 6 because Gary cat was meowing the house down. Suddenly realised he hadn't followed me downstairs - he'd curled up on the bed with Mrs Rave. The git. Spent 2 hours watching England be shit at cricket. Went back to bed at 08.30. Got up again at 11.

I had to be up an hour early to be back at work early. Technically I wasn't meant to be home, we have guests in so I normally stay on site but they were out at a party and were not due back untill the early hours of the morning, so though I'd have the evening/night at home. I'm bitterly regretting that now because between my cats and next-doors newborn baby I got about an hours sleep.
    I am now rather grumpy.

I slept on the sofa because I got very drunk and passed out there.

I don't know if this an upgrade on previously reported bourbon induced dog-bed slumberings, but I'd image the dog might err on the side 'yes, human cunt'.

Not slept for since I woke up yesterday morning in Boston, so about 33 hrs since I last woke up. I’m back home now but I never sleep on the plane. I’m fucking knackered now but stayed up rather than hitting the sack when I got hime so I can get back into UK time sharpish.

I watched The Departed on the plane home tho. Seeing as I’m practically a Bostonian by now. It’s been in my top 5 of all time since I first watched it so I score it 5 early bird worms.

The last week has been a cnut. Yep the neighbours are at it again with their insanely noisy antics. They have a souped up BMW with no muffler starting at 3, 330, 4 and 4.45 in the morning on random days and then they have it revved and idling for twenty minutes. It is earth shatteringly loud and their driveway is nestled against the side of our house. The walls shake. I have already had words with the father but this time it's the son who is the culprit. Young Hispanics think it's cool to have the noisest and most obnoxious sounding cars they can because they all have little Willy's and think that is cool. It is making me psychotically angry. I don't sleep much as it is as my hours are very very long. Late home, early to rise. Wifey is going through menopause and losing her shit also. This is not a good combination.

I just got home and went to talk to the dad about helping the son fix the car up. I hope it works because if it doesn't then he is doing it on purpose and I am going to be rather fcuked off about it. I am all for de-esculation but when you are constantly taking the piss then it becomes a major problem.

    Chicago: Hoping for a detente.

We've had 'some' wine this evening. Well, if you can't embrace ones Majestic wine delivery on a Forest winning Saturday then when can you?
I'm waiting for us to come on MOTD - we were always going to be last. Mrs Rave has nodded off on the other sofa. Good luck cats waking us up at 4am.
Come to that good luck me waking Mrs Rave up in about half an hour...

A bit layer today with a 7AM alarm as working from homo thhis morning and time of in flex this afternoon.

I don't usually take advantage of this, but, as you cant carry over anymore than 7.5 hours in a calendar month I usually lose a good few hours a month.

Decided last night to not go for a run this morning, on account of the forecast rain. Forgot to switch off the alarm, so still woke at 6.

Gym for 8:30, struggling to curl weights my Grandma could lift. Early workouts are ass.
