Thanks to having 'some' wine last night I slept through the night for the first time in ages. Won't be able to sleep tonight of course, but I'll deal with that later.

More wine?
Booze sends me into a coma straight away. I usually wake up 2 hours later drenched in sweat. Then cannot sleep the rest of the night unless I have Sunday off and don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn and I can catch up.
Last night wifey hit the 200 decibel snoring level and since I have a cpap due to having all my sinuses smashed in from copious amounts of footballs volleyed in my face and to stop her murdering me because of my snoring, so last night when she woke me up at 2am with sounds of an impending earthquake I reached over and put on some Bose noise canceling headphones. I look like an alien but it helped get me back to sleep. The downside? If I wasn’t pre-programmed to wake up annoyingly early I wouldn’t hear the alarm.
As you can imagine it’s all manner of fun at the Chicago household!
Chicago: Auditioning to be the new Darth Vader.
Up at 5:10, in for 5:32, off to the gym now. A win would be nice tonight but ideally without ET/pens.
Up at 4am in at 5am, agonising about whether it's actually going to snow as much as they're saying tomorrow or not. I'm working away and needing to use trains as well as a lot of road travel all over the area forecast for snow. The BBC is currently saying something totally different to the Met office!
And yes fingers crossed for a good, clear win today!
Alarm at 6.00 and 6.15. Up shortly thereaftet.
Old Ernold Saaaame.
But in an exciting plot twist, no meusli so I'm on the Bran Flakes.
Didn't get back home from London until 1am last night. Just woke up (7:55). Could do with a few more hours really.
Woke up at 730 today as we were out in Nottingham last night. Luckily no meetings until 10.
Woke up at 5 as the boy was ill.
Wife has a field trip, so can’t skip work.
Used up the remainder of my PTO last week, so I’m taking an unpaid to stay home and look after him.
Wondering whether this will get me into some kind of grief with work but also not that concerned as the job has been progressively a bit more shit over the last few years.
Up before 5 every morning was up late last night because I worked until 830pm and then came home and watched a Bob Marley documentary because it was on.
Sleep? Pah! It’s for the weak which was fine for Michael Douglas (until he got Cancer…)
Chicago: Stumbling from one day to another.
Wide awake at half one (still up, rather than in bed failing to nod off). This is a surprise given my lack of sleep over the last couple of weeks and rarely being able to stay up past 11pm for ages. Maybe this is a sign of getting better - before spending most of last year ill I never went to bed that early. I guess I was still on theatre hours of turning in at 1 or 2am. Of course I could still go to bed and not fall asleep. I'll be finding out shortly.
If you have trouble sleeping let me know and you can join the insomniac crew watching NHL hockey.
I was in bed and asleep before ET last night. Up at 6.
Will be in shower shortly for an uncharacteristically pre 9AM appearance at the office.
Saturday night / Sunday AM is Leafs night / morning I do believe.
I really don't see the point of this Allstars nonsense, (do people really go to these? I imagine they must do I guess.) which every time I see mentioned on a schedule puts that Smash Mouth song from Shrek in my head on a loop for a few hours.
Lolz.
I fell asleep during extra time whilst listening to the game but woke up as CHO netted his penalty. Briefly thought that was in extra time.
Up at 5.50, just sat down at my desk at work.
Got to work early to get a head start. No real snow yet (but if they got this 'skittering' down south it would be headline news I'm sure)
Hopefully it will have been the usual fuss about nothing and the trains will all run fine.
