Kids at the grandparents last night (wife working in London, I was at WFCG). Woken this morning at 7.20am by a call to say one of them had forgotten her PE kit, so frantic dash to get ready, find it and deliver it to school.

Don't schools still make kids who forget their games kit play rugby in their underwear, in the middle of winter, any more?
Countries gone soft. I'm my day you used to be able to kill a couple of kids every P.E. lesson, and it didn't do me any harm. [twitch]

Alarm at 6.00, 6.20, 6.40 today. Up at 6.45. Out the door at 08.00ish. Office sometime after 9 as went via pharmacy as its a generally all round much less frustrating experience in the morning than it is in the after / evening.
Pharmacy lady said I smelled nice. I wanted to trot out the MBB line about wearing 'horn' after briefly experimenting with 'toss' but meekly replied 'thanks' with a timidly self concious smile instead.

Woke at 6:55 on lie in day. Got back to sleep but was woken up shortly afterwards by my dog who was most vexxed at a pigeon on the roof and was barking at it

Just woke up. Bathroom and coffee time.

Woke at 3:30 as Mrs Les kicked me hard in the shin - didn't go back to sleep so went and spent time with the dog who is less kicky
