Adjust your bookmarks. You may have to log out of the board, choose sign in (in the top right), and accept the consent request from turnstile. If you do not have a current valid turnstile session this may request you to fulfill the 2FA login - your existing username and password, and currently registered authenticator should allow this. In extremis, having tried all else, you may have to clear the cookies for trentend.uk and log back into turnstile. User feedback in regard to this is encouraged.

After more than ten years, the previous board is now closed. Thank you to all who made it possible, whether by assisting in the site operation, contributing through posting, or just reading the musings of a random bunch of webmongs. It's genuinely emotional for me to shut that chapter of the communities life, but needs must. A move is not without precedent, and at least this time we have succeeded in an orderly transition to a new board before the collapse of the previous one. An archive of the old board, up to the date of the closure notice, is available for those who would like access to it. Request to me by private message (thread) on this site for that.
To those of you who have chosen not to make the transition, my special thanks accompanied by some sadness on my part. Unfortunately these things don't last forever, and the time has come to move on.
To those of you who are, and will continue to be here, I hope that it proves a satisfactory new home. We will make it what we will. I do genuinely value you all, but as has always been the case, from the very first incarnation of the board: If you don't like it here, don't come.
